What do SR, ST and SE mean in the Lenovo ThinkSystem range?

SR is a rack server (SR630 is 1U, SR650 is 2U); ST is a tower for the office or small server room; SE is a ruggedised, short-depth edge server built to run outside a data centre. The number tracks size and socket count, and a V-suffix (V2, V3) marks the generation.

What is the difference between ThinkSystem V1, V2 and V3?
