How does Server Hub source its hardware?
We import directly from Amazon and eBay marketplaces against verified listings, plus authorised partners for current NVIDIA Founders Edition stock. Every unit goes through inbound inspection in Johannesburg before it’s listed for sale.
Are prices in ZAR landed-final?
Yes. Every price you see in the catalogue is rand-final — duty, VAT, freight and our import margin are already in. No customs surprises, no separate clearance invoice.
Is the hardware new?
Unless a listing explicitly says open-box or refurbished, every unit is new in sealed manufacturer packaging. We disclose every condition on the product page.
How long does delivery take?
- Joburg & Cape Town metros: 24-hour despatch on in-stock items, typically next-business-day delivery.
- Rest of South Africa: 2–5 business days via Courier Guy / Fastway.
- Pre-order / on-order items: lead time is shown on the product page (typically 7–21 days).
Do you ship outside South Africa?
Not at the moment. Server Hub focuses on the SA market so we can guarantee landed pricing, local warranty and same-day support. Cross-border on request only — email info@fibreboyz.co.za.
What warranty do I get?
Every unit ships with a one-year Server Hub warranty covering manufacturer defects, handled locally — we don’t ask you to courier hardware to the US or EU. Many products also carry the manufacturer’s global warranty in parallel; the more generous of the two applies.
What if my order arrives DOA or damaged?
Email support@fibreboyz.co.za within 7 days with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund — your choice — and cover return courier.
Can I configure a build before it ships?
Yes. Our engineers will load a target OS, update firmware, install drivers, and bench-test under load before despatch. Mention the use case at checkout (AI training, video edit, ISP routing, etc.) or WhatsApp us — there’s no extra charge for standard configuration.
Do you offer financing or business credit terms?
We accept card, EFT, PayFast and Yoco at checkout. For orders over R50 000 on a registered SA business, we can arrange 30-day net terms — email info@fibreboyz.co.za with your company details.
Why is Server Hub linked to Fibre Boyz?
Server Hub is owned and operated by Fibre Boyz (Pty) Ltd, a young, black-owned, black-managed SA internet service company. Fibre Boyz handles connectivity; Server Hub handles the metal you point at it. Same engineering culture, same support desk, two product lines.
