About server power supplies at Server Hub
Hot-swap power supplies for rack and tower servers — the units that keep a server running when one supply fails, and the spares worth holding before it does. Every supply in this range is certified-refurbished and tested before sale.
Server power supplies are not interchangeable across makers or generations: the connector, the form factor and the power rating differ, even between two families from the same maker. Match the part number or the server model, keep a redundant pair at the same wattage, and size the wattage to the configuration — more processors, drives and GPUs draw more.
Prices are in rand with VAT included, and each product page states its condition and warranty. Rails, caddies and other spares are in server parts; backup power for the whole rack is in solar and backup power. Send us the server model and we will confirm the exact supply.

Frequently asked questions
Can I mix power supply wattages in one server?
- No. Redundant power supplies in one server should share the same wattage and efficiency rating; most servers flag a mismatch, and some run on one supply only. To move to a higher wattage, replace both units together.
Why does a server have two power supplies?
- Redundancy. With two supplies the server keeps running if one fails or loses its feed, and the failed unit can be swapped without shutting down. For full protection, connect each supply to a separate power feed or UPS.
