This Micron module is a 16GB DDR4 RDIMM ECC rated at 2133MHz, labelled PC4-2133P-R.
Actual memory speed is set by the processor and population as well as the 2133MHz rating, whichever is lowest. Do not mix RDIMM and LRDIMM modules in one server; match the type, and ideally the capacity and speed, of the modules already installed. With ECC, single-bit errors are corrected in flight rather than corrupting data or crashing the host. This is the registered memory type found in Xeon E5 v3/v4, Xeon Scalable and EPYC 7002/7003-generation servers. Capacity per module decides how much headroom is left for later: larger modules keep slots free. The PC4-2133P-R label encodes the memory generation, speed grade and module type. Buying in matched sets makes it easy to fill channels evenly on every processor. Spread modules evenly across the memory channels of each processor for balanced bandwidth.
