This Intel Xeon Platinum 8352V runs 36 cores at 2.10GHz (up to 3.50GHz on boost), with 54MB of cache in a 195W power envelope. Part of the 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors line, it uses LGA4189 and addresses up to 6TB of memory at 2933MHz DDR4.
With simultaneous multithreading enabled, it presents 72 threads to the operating system. Boost clocks apply when thermal and power headroom allow; the base clock is the sustained figure. Fresh thermal paste should be applied whenever a processor is fitted or refitted. A 195W processor needs a heatsink rated for its power, and higher-TDP parts may need the server’s high-performance heatsink.
