The Intel Xeon Gold 6248R has 24 cores and 48 threads, a 3.00GHz base clock with boost to 4.00GHz, 35.75MB of cache and a 205W TDP. Part of the 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors line, it uses Socket 3647 and addresses up to 1TB of memory at 2933MHz DDR4.
With simultaneous multithreading enabled, it presents 48 threads to the operating system. Boost clocks apply when thermal and power headroom allow; the base clock is the sustained figure.
