With 14 cores (28 threads) at a 2.00GHz base clock, boosting to 3.00GHz, the Intel Xeon E5-2683 v3 carries 35MB of cache and is rated at 120W. Part of the Intel Xeon E5-2600 V3 Processors line, it uses LGA2011 3 and addresses up to 768GB of memory at 2133MHz DDR4.

With simultaneous multithreading enabled, it presents 28 threads to the operating system. Boost clocks apply when thermal and power headroom allow; the base clock is the sustained figure.
