This HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus is a 1U rack server built around a pair of Intel Xeon Silver 4314 chips (2.40GHz, 16 cores each) and 128GB of DDR4 memory. Storage comes as two 480GB SATA SSDs, 960GB raw, occupying two bays of the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis and leaving six free.
Around that sit a Smart Array P408i-a RAID controller with 2GB of cache, quad-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Intel I350) and dual 800W power supplies. The configuration also lists rack rails.
Flash throughout means quick random reads and writes, which is what SQL servers, VDI hosts and busy application servers lean on. Two identical drives make a straightforward RAID 1 mirror for resilience.
