This HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus is a 1U rack server built around two 16-core Intel Xeon Gold 6326 CPUs at 2.90GHz and 256GB of DDR4 RAM. The drive complement is two 480GB SATA SSDs, 960GB before RAID in two bays of the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis, so six remain open for expansion.
Around that sit a Smart Array P408i-a RAID controller with 2GB of cache, quad-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Intel I350) and dual 800W power supplies. Also included: rack rails.
Flash throughout means quick random reads and writes, which is what SQL servers, VDI hosts and busy application servers lean on. Two identical drives make a straightforward RAID 1 mirror for resilience. Two power supplies let the machine run from separate power feeds. The open bays leave room to add drives later in the same chassis.
Memory here is twice that of a lighter DL360 Gen10 Plus configuration, leaving more headroom for memory-bound work. The Gold processors are a tier up from the entry DL360 Gen10 Plus builds.
It is supplied certified refurbished: inspected, bench-tested and data-wiped in Johannesburg before release.
