Configured as a 1U rack server, this HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus combines two Intel Xeon Gold 5318Y processors (24 cores each, 2.10GHz base clock) with 128GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage comes as two 480GB SATA SSDs, 960GB raw in two bays of the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis, so six remain open for expansion.
The build is rounded out by Smart Array P408i-a hardware RAID (2GB cache), quad-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Intel I350) and dual 800W power supplies. Also included: a rack rail kit.
48 cores and 128GB with all-flash storage make it a strong match for SQL databases, busy virtual machines and other latency-sensitive work. The two drives pair naturally as a RAID 1 mirror. Dual power supplies mean one can fail, or one feed can drop, without taking the machine down.
That is twice the memory of a lighter DL360 Gen10 Plus build, which matters most for virtual machines and caching. Its Gold-tier processors sit a step above the entry CPU options for this model.
