This HP Z8 G4 is a tower workstation built around two Intel Xeon Gold 6246 processors (12 cores each, 3.30GHz base clock) and 128GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage is a 2TB 7.2K SATA hard drive and a 512GB NVMe SSD, 2.51TB in total, occupying one bay of the 4-bay 3.5-inch chassis and leaving three free.
Around that sit integrated SATA RAID, 1GbE networking (Intel I219LM) and a 1125W power supply. Also included: Windows 11 Pro as the listed operating system.
The NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ampere with 8GB of graphics memory, alongside 24 cores and 128GB, suits CAD, 3D modelling, rendering and visualisation work. The open bays leave room to add drives later in the same chassis.
