Here the Dell Precision T7820 tower workstation comes with a pair of Intel Xeon Silver 4210R chips (2.40GHz, 10 cores each) alongside 32GB of DDR4. For storage it carries a 2TB 7.2K SATA hard drive and a 512GB NVMe SSD (2.51TB combined) in one bay of the 2-bay 3.5-inch chassis, so one remains open for expansion.
Supporting hardware includes integrated SATA RAID, 1GbE networking (Intel I219) and a 950W power supply. You also get Windows 11 Pro as the listed operating system.
Professional graphics (NVIDIA RTX A2000) and 32GB make this a practical seat for engineering design, product visualisation and video work. Capacity can grow later by filling the free bays, without a change of chassis.
It is one of the lighter-memory T7820 builds; a configuration with more memory is the step up for memory-bound workloads. It has more cores than the lighter T7820 builds, so more work runs in parallel.
Sold as certified refurbished, the workstation passes inspection and a bench test, and has its storage wiped, in Johannesburg before release.
