Configured as a tower workstation, this Dell Precision T7820 combines two 8-core Intel Xeon Gold 6234 CPUs at 3.30GHz with 192GB of DDR4 memory. For storage it carries an 8TB 7.2K SATA hard drive and a 512GB NVMe SSD (8.51TB combined), occupying one bay of the 2-bay 3.5-inch chassis and leaving one free.
The build is rounded out by integrated SATA RAID, 1GbE networking (Intel I219) and a 950W power supply. You also get Windows 11 Pro as the listed operating system.
The NVIDIA RTX A4500 with 20GB of graphics memory, alongside 16 cores and 192GB, suits CAD, 3D modelling, rendering and visualisation work. Capacity can grow later by filling the free bays, without a change of chassis.
That is half as much again as the memory of a lighter T7820 build, which matters most for virtual machines and caching. Its Gold-tier processors sit a step above the entry CPU options for this model.
Certified refurbished condition: the workstation is inspected, bench-tested and data-wiped in Johannesburg.
