Configured as a tower workstation, this Dell Precision T5820 combines a single Intel Xeon W-2133 (6 cores at 3.60GHz) with 64GB of DDR4 RAM. For storage it carries an 8TB 7.2K SATA hard drive and a 512GB NVMe SSD (8.51TB combined), occupying one bay of the 2-bay 3.5-inch chassis and leaving one free.
The build is rounded out by integrated SATA RAID, 1GbE networking and a 950W power supply. The configuration also lists Windows 11 Pro as the listed operating system.
Designers and engineers get the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 for CAD and 3D viewport work, with 6 cores for simulation and rendering tasks. Capacity can grow later by filling the free bays, without a change of chassis.
