This Dell PowerEdge T550 is a tower server built around a pair of Intel Xeon Silver 4314 chips (2.40GHz, 16 cores each) and 128GB of DDR4. It carries eight 2.4TB SAS hard drives for 19.2TB of raw capacity.
Around that sit a PERC H755 RAID controller with 8GB of cache, 1GbE RJ45 networking (Broadcom 5720) and dual 600W power supplies. The configuration also lists iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management.
Think of it as a storage node first: 19.2TB raw suits a backup repository, a surveillance or media archive, or a departmental file store.
