Here the Dell PowerEdge T350 tower server comes with one 6-core Intel Xeon E-2356G at 3.20GHz alongside 16GB of DDR4. The drive complement is two 480GB SATA SSDs, 960GB before RAID; six bays of the 8-bay 3.5-inch chassis are still free.
Supporting hardware includes a PERC H345 RAID controller, dual-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Broadcom 5720) and dual 600W power supplies. You also get an iDRAC9 Enterprise licence for out-of-band management.
Use it for domain services, a modest file server, backups for a small office or as a lab host. The two drives pair naturally as a RAID 1 mirror.
It is one of the lighter-memory T350 builds; a configuration with more memory is the step up for memory-bound workloads. The 6 cores are half as much again as the count of a lighter T350 build, so more work runs in parallel.
