This Dell PowerEdge R940 is a 3U rack server built around four Intel Xeon Gold 6254 processors (18 cores each, 3.10GHz base clock) and 512GB of DDR4 memory. It carries eight 3.84TB SAS SSDs for 30.72TB of raw capacity with all bays of the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis populated. Two 240GB M.2 SATA SSDs on a BOSS card handle the operating system, separate from the data drives.
