This Dell PowerEdge R940 is a 3U rack server built around four 24-core Intel Xeon Gold 6252 CPUs at 2.10GHz and 768GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage comes as eight 2.4TB 10K SAS hard drives, 19.2TB raw with all bays of the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis populated. A BOSS card with two 240GB M.2 SATA SSDs is fitted for the operating system, keeping the front bays for data.
Around that sit a PERC H740P RAID controller with 8GB of cache, 2 × 10GbE SFP+ networking (Intel X520) and dual 2000W power supplies. You also get iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
