Configured as a 4U rack server, this Dell PowerEdge R930 combines four Intel Xeon E7-8880 v4 processors (22 cores each, 2.20GHz base clock) with 256GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage comes as eight 1.92TB SAS SSDs, 15.36TB raw; 16 bays of the 24-bay 2.5-inch chassis are still free.
The build is rounded out by PERC H730P hardware RAID (2GB cache), 2 × 1GbE RJ45 + 2 × 10GbE SFP+ networking (Broadcom 57800S) and four 1100W power supplies. The configuration also lists an iDRAC8 Enterprise licence for out-of-band management and a rack rail kit.
