This Dell PowerEdge R930 is a 4U rack server built around four Intel Xeon E7-8880 v4 chips (2.20GHz, 22 cores each) and 1TB of DDR4 memory. The drive complement is eight 3.84TB SAS SSDs, 30.72TB before RAID, occupying eight bays of the 24-bay 2.5-inch chassis and leaving 16 free.
Around that sit a PERC H730P RAID controller with 2GB of cache, 2 × 1GbE RJ45 + 2 × 10GbE SFP+ networking (Broadcom 57800S) and four 1100W power supplies. You also get iDRAC8 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
