A PERC H740P RAID controller with 8GB of cache, quad-port 10GbE RJ45 networking (Intel X550-T4) and dual 1600W power supplies complete the specification. The configuration also lists iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
All-flash drives keep storage latency low, so the 112 cores and 512GB can be put to work on transactional databases, analytics or a dense set of virtual machines. Set up as RAID 10, the eight drives keep half their raw space and stay mirrored.
