This Dell PowerEdge R760xs is a 2U rack server built around a pair of Intel Xeon Silver 4514Y chips (2.00GHz, 16 cores each) and 256GB of DDR5 RAM. The drive complement is twelve 8TB 7.2K SATA hard drives, 96TB before RAID with all bays of the 12-bay 3.5-inch chassis populated. Two 480GB M.2 NVMe SSDs on a BOSS card handle the operating system, separate from the data drives.
