This Dell PowerEdge R760xs is a 2U rack server built around two 16-core Intel Xeon Gold 6526Y CPUs at 2.80GHz and 256GB of DDR5 RAM. It carries twelve 20TB 7.2K SAS hard drives for 240TB of raw capacity with all bays of the 12-bay 3.5-inch chassis populated. The operating system gets its own home on a BOSS card carrying two 480GB M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Around that sit a PERC H755 RAID controller with 8GB of cache, 2 × 10GbE SFP+ networking (Broadcom 57412) and dual 1400W power supplies. Also included: iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
