It carries twelve 12TB 7.2K SATA hard drives for 144TB of raw capacity in twelve bays of the 24-bay 3.5-inch chassis, so twelve remain open for expansion. A BOSS card with two 240GB M.2 SATA SSDs is fitted for the operating system, keeping the front bays for data.
