A PERC H740P RAID controller with 8GB of cache, dual-port 10GbE RJ45 networking (Intel X550) and dual 1100W power supplies complete the specification. The configuration also lists iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
All-flash drives keep storage latency low, so the 16 cores and 384GB can be put to work on transactional databases, analytics or a dense set of virtual machines. Set up as RAID 10, the eight drives keep half their raw space and stay mirrored.
