This Dell PowerEdge R730xd is a 2U rack server built around two Intel Xeon E5-2699A v4 processors (22 cores each, 2.40GHz base clock) and 512GB of DDR4 memory. Storage comes as twelve 3.84TB SAS SSDs, 46.08TB raw in twelve bays of the 24-bay 2.5-inch chassis, so twelve remain open for expansion.
Around that sit a PERC H730P RAID controller with 2GB of cache, 2 × 1GbE RJ45 + 2 × 10GbE RJ45 networking (Intel X550) and dual 1100W power supplies. You also get iDRAC8 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
