Two 32-core Intel Xeon Gold 6338 CPUs at 2.00GHz and 256GB of DDR4 power this Dell PowerEdge R650xs 1U rack server. Storage comes as four 18TB 7.2K SAS hard drives, 72TB raw with all bays of the 4-bay 3.5-inch chassis populated. A BOSS card with two 240GB M.2 SATA SSDs is fitted for the operating system, keeping the front bays for data.
A PERC H755 RAID controller with 8GB of cache, dual-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Broadcom 5720) and dual 800W power supplies complete the specification. Also included: iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
