This Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rack server built around two Intel Xeon Gold 5320 processors (26 cores each, 2.20GHz base clock) and 256GB of DDR4 RAM. The drive complement is four 4TB 7.2K SAS hard drives, 16TB before RAID with all bays of the 4-bay 3.5-inch chassis populated. The operating system gets its own home on a BOSS card carrying two 240GB M.2 SATA SSDs.
Around that sit a PERC H755 RAID controller with 8GB of cache, dual-port 1GbE RJ45 networking (Broadcom 5720) and dual 800W power supplies. Also included: iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management and rack rails.
