This is a 2.5-inch drive tray for PowerEdge R650, R660, R6525, R6625, R750, R750xs, R760, R760xs, R7525 and R7625, carrying Dell part number DXD9H.

A complete set of trays, fans and covers keeps cooling air moving where the chassis design expects it. Where parts look alike, the Dell part number settles which revision you have. Check the label on the part already in the server to find its part number before ordering a replacement. That spans ten server models, so one spare can cover a mixed estate of them. Match the tray to the bay size: 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch trays are not interchangeable. Generations differ in small details, so the part number is a better guide than appearance. It is a useful spare for anyone maintaining several servers of the same generation. Trays let drives slide into the front bays; an empty bay needs one before a drive can be fitted. Servers bought part-populated often need extra trays when drives are added later, because an empty bay usually holds only a blank. Use the part number DXD9H to confirm the part matches the one already in your system.

It is supplied certified refurbished: inspected, bench-tested and function-checked in Johannesburg before release.
