About Apple at Server Hub

Our Apple range covers the current line-up across Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods, with the accessories and cases alongside them.

Server Hub is an independent reseller. We are not an Apple Authorised Reseller and we hold no Apple partner status; Apple, Mac, MacBook, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc., used here to identify the products we sell. What we do supply is genuine, sealed stock sourced through Apple's South African distribution — not grey imports — priced in rand with VAT and duty included, and warrantied here rather than across a border.

For business buyers, the Mac decision has become simpler than it looks. Apple silicon changed the calculus: memory is unified and cannot be upgraded later, so the configuration you buy is the configuration you keep for the life of the machine. That makes memory the one specification worth over-buying and storage the one worth under-buying, since external storage is cheap and unified memory is not. A machine that runs out of memory in year two is replaced in year two.

On the Watch and AirPods side, the range is broad and the differences are mostly about fit and battery rather than capability. If you are buying for a team rather than yourself, tell us the use case and we will narrow it.

Delivery time is shown on each product page before checkout — Johannesburg next day, Cape Town one to two days, elsewhere in South Africa two to five, added to the lead time where an item is sourced to order.

Apple — frequently asked questions

Is Server Hub an Apple Authorised Reseller?

No. We are an independent reseller supplying genuine, sealed Apple stock sourced through Apple’s South African distribution. Apple and its product names are trademarks of Apple Inc., used for identification only.

Are these grey imports?

No. Stock is sourced through South African distribution, priced in rand with VAT and duty included, and warrantied locally — so a claim is handled here rather than couriered abroad.

How much memory should I specify on a Mac?

More than you think, because you cannot add it later. Apple silicon uses unified memory soldered to the package, so the configuration you buy is the one you keep. Over-buy memory and under-buy storage — external storage is cheap, unified memory is not.

What warranty applies?

Twelve months, mirroring Apple’s cover locally and longer where Apple’s own warranty is longer, in addition to your Consumer Protection Act rights.

Can you supply Macs and iPads to a business fleet?

Yes. Send the roles and quantities and we will quote against them, including the accessories and any AppleCare options that apply. For larger orders we quote formally rather than asking you to cart it.

Do you sell refurbished Apple hardware?

Our Apple range is new. Where we list refurbished hardware anywhere on the site it is labelled certified refurbished on the product page, with its own warranty terms stated there.
